Darren Redfern: Practical Approach

A chapter in The Maple Handbook, 1994, pp 265-297 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The commands dealing with number theory make up a significant proportion of Maple’s built-in capability. Among the types of numbers for which commands are provided are integers, rationals, continued fractions, Gaussian integers, p-adic numbers, primes, and special irrational values such as π, e, etc. Some of these commands reside in the standard Maple library, but many more live in the three packages numtheory, Gausslnt, and padic.
