Abstract:
Abstract Iteration is the process of repeating the same procedure over and over, using output of one step as input for the next. We start with a function f(x) and a seed x 0, then set $$\begin{matrix}x_1 = f(x_0, y_0), & y_1 = g(x_0, y_0), \\ x_2 = f(x_1, y_1), & y_2 = g(x_1, y_1), \\ x_3 = f(x_2, y_2), & y_3 = g(x_2, y_2) & \dots \\ \end{matrix}$$
