Chapter 4 in MacMath 9.0, 1992, pp 27-30 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract For a function of the form y = f(x), this program will graph the function, find roots (either by a bisection method or by Newton’s method), find maxima and minima (by analyzing the derivative), and numerically integrate the function with a choice of four methods. The program will also iterate a function graphically. Graphs of the function and its derivatives, or of different functions, can be overlaid. Analyzer is a very handy tool for dealing with awkward equations both numerically and graphically.
