Life Insurance Contracts (Several Lives)
F. Etienne De Vylder
Chapter Chapter 13 in Life Insurance Theory, 1997, pp 111-113 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A life insurance contract on the lifes x, y, ..., z is a couple (Coo,Poo) of time-capitals Coo and Poo depending on x, y, ..., z. The time-capital Coo is the engagement of the insurer to be paid to the insureds x, y, ..., z and Poo is the engagement of the insureds. All definitions of Ch.9 and most results of that Chapter extend to the case of several lives. Here we recall and adapt some considerations in case of two lives x and y only.
