Alternative Factory Floor Interface Devices
Hans Kull
Chapter Chapter 6 in Mass Customization, 2015, pp 55-58 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract If people have to wear heavy gloves and still need to give input to any machine more complex than a pedal to press, then emerging technologies can help. Some of these technologies have been around for a while; they are just not used on the factory floor. An example is Microsoft’s Kinect, which allows you to give commands by waving your hands.
