Cultivating Good Test Writing Skills

James E. McDonough

Chapter Chapter 14 in Automated Unit Testing with ABAP, 2021, pp 357-366 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Writing automated unit tests is a skill that must be honed and nurtured just as carefully as the skills developers acquire over their careers writing production software. Indeed, a new programming model is involved with writing tests, one where the prime directive is to insure the stability and accuracy of production software. This chapter addresses some of the topics related to the development of those skills.
