Chapter Chapter 23 in Developer Relations, 2021, pp 211-225 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Events have historically been a cornerstone of Developer Marketing and the primary channel to deploy your Developer Advocates in front of the developer community. Events are also a way to extend your developer education channels. They come in many forms, from large conferences and trade shows to small meetups and hackathons to online and in person. Your team will be attending events that someone else has organized, and you will also create and run your own events in a variety of formats. This chapter will provide a high-level strategy for events and offer checklists to help you plan and execute them.
