Abstract: Abstract DevRel has a large surface area with lots of facets and complexity to consider. It is further complicated by its strategic nature, leading to many strong opinions in an organization on the best approach to managing and growing a DevRel program. It definitely requires you to form and maintain many cross-departmental relationships and have confidence and authority in your plan. In this chapter, we examine what makes a DevRel program mature and then review the maturity stages of a program so you can benchmark your progress.
