Open Conflict
Peter Wendorff
Chapter Chapter 4 in Politics in Software Development, 2022, pp 29-36 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Stakeholders with conflicting goals are not always willing to ignore them, and organizations routinely need to deal with this situation. Therefore, a key goal informing the design of organizations is the optimal management of conflict. Any practical solution has limitations, though, which leaves room for the political activities of stakeholders. In this chapter, we have a first look at the role these activities play in the resolution of conflict in organizations.
