Developing an Enterprise Architecture

Sheunopa Chalmers Musukutwa

Chapter Chapter 3 in SAP Enterprise Architecture, 2022, pp 51-92 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Before diving into the fundamental steps of developing an Enterprise Architecture, let’s briefly recap what an Enterprise Architecture is and why it is important for an enterprise to develop one. An architecture represents a collection of elements and how they relate to each other. Examples of architectures include business architectures, software architectures, hardware architectures, and network architectures. A hardware architecture will contain all of the hardware that hosts and supports the software applications utilized by the enterprise in its business operations.
