Maintenance
Jonathan Peter Crosby
Chapter Chapter 8 in The Business Manager's Guide to Software Projects, 2023, pp 57-60 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Once the construction phase of a commercial building is complete, the client gets the keys, and the building maintenance team, which will have been involved throughout the project, takes charge. In software projects, a little foresight on the part of the project team will minimize the cost and effort of future maintenance—this will benefit both the business and IT departments. It will allow the smooth running of the software on a day-to-day basis following the launch.
