Introduction to Quantum Computing

Dhairyya Agarwal, Shalini D and Srinjoy Ganguly

Chapter Chapter 1 in Productizing Quantum Computing, 2023, pp 1-21 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Quantum computing is a rapidly growing field that works on the principle of quantum mechanics. In this chapter, we will discuss the prominent quantum mechanics concept with a bit of mathematical info and show how different fields came together to form a new field called quantum. We’ll discuss some prominent gates and how to make a simple entangled state with a pictorial representation. Going through every concept of this chapter will prepare you to proceed to other concepts in later chapters.
