Chapter Chapter 7 in Transcendental Numbers, 2014, pp 27-30 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter and subsequent chapters, we will use Siegel’s lemma and the maximum modulus principle to prove transcendence results. We shall begin with the six exponentials theorem. The proof of this theorem involves the notion of norm of an algebraic number which we recall.
