Chapter Chapter 8 in Applied Fourier Analysis, 2017, pp 227-253 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract We have studied the use of the Fourier Transform on one-dimensional problems on a number of problems. Fourier Analysis is also extremely valuable as a tool to understand multidimensional problems. Modern cable systems utilize Fourier Analysis to compress video signals in order to provide more channels through the same connections. The military uses Fourier Analysis to analyze images and detect potential targets of interest. There is no shortage of applications, so we will now move on with the formalities of the multidimensional Fourier Transform.
