Abstract: Abstract In version 5.0 the OpenMP specification [4] will define a tool interface (OMPT) that allows monitoring tools to gain insights into implementation specific information about the execution behavior of an OpenMP application. The OMPT interface provides information about certain events during the execution, but also allows to query the OpenMP runtime about state and stack frame information.
