Chapter Chapter 7 in Redistricting: A Manual for Analysts, Practitioners, and Citizens, 2019, pp 57-60 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The six chapters in Part III present case studies that illustrate various technical and legal issues you may encounter in drawing and justifying districts and plans, or in evaluating alternatives that others have proposed. Each case study demonstrates useful approaches that are adaptable to comparable circumstances. This chapter provides a roadmap of the issues presented, along with thumbnail sketches of each case study to assist you in determining which case studies may be applicable.
