Abstract: Abstract The chapter discuss briefly some of the elements of a contract, followed by the remedies for breach of financial contract, which are available under the Malaysian Shari’ah law. Then, we will look at the current practices in Malaysia, followed by a real case of breach of financial contract and its remedies granted, in Malaysia, and under Shari’ah principles. And finally, we will make some recommendations in relation to financial contract and its governing Shari’ah law in Malaysia
