Abstract: Abstract A common transport and logistics space in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is to be created by 2025. As of today, member-states are facing similar infrastructure constraints that in the long run may undermine EAEU economic ambitions. Thus, transport and logistics turn out to be one of the decisive areas to deepen economic integration in the EAEU. Eurasian integration has overall contributed to the development of transport and logistics in the Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2010–2018. First, key transport and logistics performance indicators—freight turnover and volume of goods transported—have displayed upward dynamics. Second, related shares of railway and auto segments have risen, pointing at a non-energy shift in the structure of shipments (including transit). Third, the EAEU market has seen a greater availability of integrated transport and logistics services. Fourth, the EAEU states have increased their role in international trade in transport and logistics services. Fifth, as a result of integration, the EAEU members have strengthened their positions in the Logistics Performance Index (LPI). However, major industry challenges imply a high deterioration rate of infrastructure (both stationary and rolling stock) and a lack of supranational transport policy. The research concludes that efficient and eco-friendly transport and logistics complex might overall contribute to greater connectivity within the EAEU as well as secure greater transit flows via its territory in East-West and North-South international transport corridors.
