Abstract:
Abstract The Russian banking system is relatively young compared to other countries because the RF inherited the banking system of the Soviet Union. Michail Gorbatchev’s perestroika program, under which the first commercial banks were formed, marked the beginning of a modern banking system in Russia. Since then, the financial system has undergone several reforms structured in the following periods.
