Chapter 6 in Family Entrepreneurship, 2021, pp 75-83 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In many business owning families, the story behind the founding of the business or the life of the founder can become the stuff of legends. These are almost superhuman individuals who despite insurmountable obstacles and opposition are somehow able to create something from nothing, often through sheer willpower. It is no wonder that subsequent generations are interested, and sometimes even obsessed with perpetuating the family legacy of entrepreneurial success across generations.
