Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides a detailed overview of the Malaysian economy as an introduction to the text. The chapter provides a detailed overview of the current geography and structure of the Malaysian economy followed by a history of the emergence of the nation state and its colonial history and emergence of the modern country. Entrepreneurial activity in Malaysia and its levels are discussed in depth. Thereafter, Malaysia’s current economic policy is evaluated, and conclusions are drawn regarding its value and contribution.
