Chapter Chapter 5 in Introduction to Inverse Problems for Differential Equations, 2021, pp 151-170 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we consider some inverse problems for the Maxwell equations. Here H = (H 1, H 2, H 3) and E = (E 1, E 2, E 3) are vectors of electric and magnetic strengths, ε > 0, μ > 0 and σ are the permittivity, permeability and conductivity coefficients, respectively, which define electro-dynamical parameters of a medium. The function j = j(x, t) is the external current source which generates the electromagnetic waves.
