A chapter in Industry 4.0, 2022, pp 31-37 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Purpose: the purpose of this research is to develop a high-tech approach to ensuring security based on digital state-public monitoring and management of environmental protection processes in the region in industry 4.0 and justify its applicability using the example of the regions of Russia. Design/methodology/approach: in order to identify the prospects for digital public-public monitoring and management of environmental protection processes in the regions of Russia in the 4.0 industry and to determine the possibilities of introducing a high-tech approach to ensuring safety, the regression dependence of the environmental, industrial-ecological and socio-ecological index on the quality of public services in electronic form is determined. Findings: digital state-public monitoring and management of environmental protection processes in the region in the 4.0 industry in Russia should focus on responsible production and consumption, but should not cover other environmental management, since its optimization with the help of e-government is limited and contradictory. Originality/value: A high-tech approach to ensuring security based on digital state-public monitoring and management of environmental protection processes in the region in the 4.0 industry has been developed, providing the following advantages: involvement of all stakeholders in the monitoring process, full transparency of environmental monitoring results, as well as more complete information support for public environmental management in the region.
