Abstract:
Abstract As the world is suffering and is trying to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the consumer economy has come to a near-screeching halt, with a range of business sectors taking massive hits. Experts weigh on the impact of the corona virus on retail market, hospitality, foodservice, and fashion and glimpse a post-pandemic business landscape. The key purpose of the research is to understand the consequence of the pandemic on the online business in Indian market. The corona virus pandemic is purely different from other crisis situations. It really depends on how the government takes decisions and continues to place restrictions that help flatten the curve and when these restrictions will be lifted. We the humans respond to crises in different ways. When faced with uncertain, risky situations which have no control, we tend to try whatever we can to feel like we have some control. The corona virus (COVID-19) has a wide reaching effect on e-commerce, technology, business travel, tourism, agriculture, and the economy. The online business is finding it difficult to sell their products online and also facing tremendous issues while sourcing their products from various nations. As China mainly deals with the machinery, equipment, instruments, and communication-related equipment, any disruptions in these sectors will simply affect other country online business equally. The pandemic of COVID-19 has forced the retail outlets of the nation to remain closed to tackle the spreading of the virus. This situation has identified to be unparalleled destruction of many businesses.
