Abstract:
Abstract This chapter, “The Impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic on the Healthcare System in Poland”, exposes the imperfections of the healthhealthcarehealth care system inherent in Poland before the pandemic. The aim of the study is to identify key changes in the healthcare system in Poland caused by the pandemic and to determine the prospective implications of the pandemic on the healthcare system in Poland. The basic research question is: To what extent may the COVID-19 pandemic change the healthcarehealthcare system in Poland in the future? The result of the study is the identification of the impact of the pandemic on the healthcare system in Poland, considered in terms of the financing and implementation of health servicesservices in Poland, taking into account Polish conditions. The work fills the research gap related to the fact that, based on the crisiscrisis present, future healthcare system standards are needed, and this presents a proposal thereof.
