Chapter Chapter 5 in The Mathematics of Errors, 2021, pp 51-70 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is devoted to the mathematical foundations on which the theory of error structures is based. We aim here at simplicity. After the main arguments concerning strongly continuous semi-groups on a Banach space have been established—and this requires very little prior knowledge—the notion and fundamental properties of Dirichlet forms will be demonstrated on a particular case according to a method which is general.
