Chapter Chapter 6 in Post-Heroic Leadership, 2022, pp 133-144 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A key process in the work of post-heroic leaders is leading change. This chapter summarizes the essential learnings from the science of leading organizational change. Three of the most widely known myths about change leadership are challenged using expert research. The chapter also provides examples of post-heroic leadership in action. Interviews with post-heroic leaders demonstrate how they approach development in their organizations and how they facilitate change processes. An emphasis is put on engaging and involving in order to develop a sense of psychological ownership and safety, as well as on feedback and communication.
