Chapter 12 in Hidden Champions in the Chinese Century, 2022, pp 73-78 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The dynamics population and economic power will lead to major changes in the coming decades. In 2050, 55% of all people will live in Asia-Pacific and Africa. Europe will account for only 7% and the Americas for only 12% of humanity. Until 2030, the global GDP will grow by a third but the growth and economic power will remain concentrated in the first global league consisting of the US, China, and the European Union. This is where the battle for global market leadership will be decided for the Hidden Champions. The global distribution of wealth is developing to the detriment of Africa.
