Alternative Forms of Enterprise Within and Without Capitalism and MacIntyre

Chapter Chapter 4 in Virtue and Social Enterprise, 2022, pp 65-78 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract If the monetary priorities of capitalist business are considered antithetical to practices as argued in the previous chapters, it is then necessary to explore alternative business environments where practices could be encouraged within institutions. There are institutions operating within market systems which do not conform to a capitalist requirement for profit in the same way, which can be assessed for their application of a MacIntyrean approach to virtue.
