Chapter Chapter 9 in Development Delusions and Contradictions, 2023, pp 169-181 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter looks at the bewildering range of development texts and documentation as essential artifacts of the industry. It identifies the guiding principles in the preparation of development documents and the importance of jargon, buzzwords, and other development babble. It concludes that for much of the industry it is the report itself that is the only true product.
