Chapter Chapter 7 in International Labour Mobility, 2023, pp 139-159 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Even if the general tendency is to analyse the impact of migration from an economic perspective and mainly in the countries of origin or destination, in this chapter we approach migration and remittances from a social point of view. Thus, an attempt is made to improve the literature with a synthesis of positive and negative effects from a macroeconomic and microeconomic perspective, both on the country of origin and on the country of destination.
