Abstract:
Abstract This book is about learning qualitative methods practiced in a retreat. I use nine concepts to further elaborate the 13 chapters of the book. Our chapter writers use the methodology they experienced at Qcamp to reflect on what they learned and subsequently applied to their research projects. The nine category grounded theory synthesis includes: complication, emotion, identification, ideology, spirited, materiality, transportation, interrogative, and reckoning. In the summary of this chapter the nine categories are further reduced into the basic features of a narrative—character, predicament, and action—to allow them to be used pedagogically.
