Abstract:
Abstract The transition from linear economy models to circular economy models starts within a scenario capable of facilitating the diffusion of innovation and the relationship between the different actors involved. Public and private organisations can play a key role in this shift towards the circular economy and institutional environments, such as the market, business, Consumers, the community, and international organisations are increasingly involved in the implementation of the circular economy by implementing regulatory frameworks, taxation, and market regulation. Political institutions, at the international level, define the goals and the timeframe within which to reach them to address the growing global demand for goods such as food, water, and energy. The European Union, for example, shows that economic development can link industrial policies and environmental protection.
