Abstract:
Abstract Vulnerable populations such as youth entrepreneurs in developingDevelop countries are under potential threat from individuals or groups within their larger systemic context. It is fundamental to build a healthy socio-economic systemic context where youth is facilitated at university level to engage in a youth entrepreneurEntrepreneur(s) support (YES) network. Before engaging with entrepreneurship, it is important to have an individual entrepreneurial orientation (IEO)Individual entrepreneurial orientation (IEO), which ensures awareness and innovative management of business opportunitiesOpportunities and risks. For university students, this orientation may be achieved through participating in a YES Network where systemic action learning and action research (SALARSystemic Action Learning Action Research Phases (SALAR)) is applied. Creating a tailored location and specific YES Network to support university students, and developing students’ IEO are theoretically suggested methods to address systemic challenges in youth entrepreneurship. This significant challenge is taken up in this research.
