Abstract:
Abstract Panel data, also known as cross-sectional time series data, is a type of data that combines both cross-sectional and time series dimensions. In accounting and finance research, panel data typically consists of observations on multiple entities (such as firms, countries, or individuals) over multiple time periods. This data structure enables researchers to study the dynamics of relationships between variables and analyze the effects of various factors over time.
