Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores the pivotal importance of stakeholder management in the context of public and nonprofit organizations. Recognizing that stakeholders can both affect and be affected by organizational actions, which can lead to either creating or destroying public value, the chapter discusses the process of identifying pertinent stakeholders and delineates effective stakeholder strategies from both normative and instrumental perspectives.
