Chapter Chapter 11 in Behavioural Economics, 2025, pp 247-273 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The consequences of many decisions are spread over time. Examples are improvements in climate change or health care prevention programmes like breast cancer screening and the promotion of healthier lifestyles. The costs of such programmes often take place earlier than the benefits. How to account for such differences in timing is the topic of this chapter.
