Abstract:
Abstract Nancy L. Rose is the Charles P. Kindleberger Professor of Applied Economics in the Department of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a former Head of the Department. She served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economic Analysis in the Antitrust Division at the US Department of Justice from 2014 to 2016. She is well known for her research and leadership in the areas of industrial organisation, regulation and antitrust, and her teaching and mentorship in these areas. In 2020, Rose received the Carolyn Shaw Bell Award from the American Economic Association’s Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession.
