Abstract:
Abstract David served her country as a statistician in World War II. Germany invaded Poland on 1 September 1939 and her country, the United Kingdom, entered the war on 3 September 1939. David served from the beginning of the war. Her service was so important to the war effort that The National Archives of the United Kingdom has a story about her war work on their web site.
