Chapter 6 in Florence Nightingale David, 2025, pp 81-98 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In 1946, David was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS). Statisticians or probabilists who are deemed to have achieved distinction in their published work may be elected Fellows of their professional associations. Being named an IMS Fellow is a high honor. Unfortunately, the IMS doesn’t have records of the citations for any Fellow elected prior to 1999, and so there is no record of the citation for David.
