Chapter Chapter 5 in Stochastic Imperfect Inventory Systems, 2025, pp 329-441 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter focuses on imperfect inventory control model with maintenance. Twelve mathematical models under different assumptions such as stochastic production rate, stochastic demand rate, stochastic spare parts demand, stochastic preventive maintenance time, stochastic lead time, and stochastic failure time are presented. Preventive maintenance with spare parts failure, failure replacement, deteriorating process and rework, etc., are other assumptions considered in descriptions of presented problems. For all presented models, solution models and numerical examples are provided to show the applicability of models.
