DeFi and Its Implications on Enterprise Software and Business Processes

Simon Engel ()

A chapter in Tokenizing the Future, 2025, pp 175-187 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In recent years, Decentralized Finance (DeFi) has emerged as a transformative and disruptive force within the financial industry. DeFi concepts find adoption in other industries like gaming or enterprise software. The decentralized nature of DeFi leverages blockchain technology, allowing for trustless and permissionless financial transactions, thereby challenging traditional financial intermediaries.
