Abstract:
Abstract We conduct a traditional literature review to determine the framework of the circular economy (CE), identify circular business models, and apply the CE framework to the global cocoa value chain. Our findings suggest that circularity has already been achieved at each level of the chocolate sector. However, continued progress requires appropriate measurement.
