Chapter 11 in Monetary Policy and Macroprudential Regulation with Financial Frictions, 2025, pp 561-570 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Chapter 11 identifies some potentially fruitful directions for future research. They include the treatment of expectations; the estimation and solution of DSGE models with financial frictions; the impact of labor market rigidities on output, prices, and unemployment; the gains from coordinating macroprudential policy instruments among themselves, both domestically and internationally; the analysis of cross-border leakages associated with capital controls; and the distributional effects of prudential regulation.
