Chapter Chapter 5 in The Economics of Political Philosophy, 2026, pp 401-412 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Part four of the book has a dual purpose. On the one hand, it is a summary of the previous chapters ahead of the two institutional chapters. On the other hand, it has the purpose to show the consistency between the analysis of liberty, equality and social institutions. We examine the relationship between the various components of liberty and equality as well as try to demonstrate that both notions of complex and continuous equality and liberty are at their most desirable composition when aligned with the same social principle of social organisation. It is also the one we associate with the idea of socio-liberalism.
