Abstract: Abstract The notion of paradox occupies a central position in both philosophical inquiry and contemporary organisational thought. At its most accessible, a paradox is described as the simultaneous existence of seemingly contradictory elements that, despite their opposition, are deeply interconnected and mutually constitutive (Smith & LewisLewis, M.W.foundational paradox work, 2011). Unlike dilemmas, which typically demand a resolution in favour of one option over another, paradoxes persist over time, resisting simple resolution and requiring instead an ongoing engagement with tensionTensions (Cameron & Quinn, 1988).
