Abstract: Abstract This chapter explores the Diploma in Sustainable Developmentdiploma in sustainable development (Dip SD) at Stellenbosch UniversityStellenbosch University (SU) as an innovative model for developing social entrepreneurshipsocial entrepreneurship through experiential learningexperiential learning. The Dip SD integrates interdisciplinary learninginterdisciplinary learning, constructive alignmentconstructive alignment, and place-based learning, to prepare students for South AfricaSouth Africa’s complex socio-ecological landscape. By combining theory with hands-on practice, the programme focusses on developing entrepreneurial mindsetsentrepreneurial mindset and resilienceresilience for volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCAvolatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA)) futuresfutures.
