Abstract: Abstract In our experience, conversations about crowdfunding (especially regarding rewardreward-based crowdfunding)crowdfundingreward-based crowdfunding often begin with a comparison to advanced sales. However, even though there are some elements of advanced sales in crowdfunding, the primary function of crowdfunding is to provide help with funding for start-up entrepreneurs. In many entrepreneurial surveys, funding is recognized as the most important problem for start-up entrepreneurs.
