Abstract: Abstract In this memoir, Lagrange establishes a complete system of formulae of spherical trigonometry. Using these formulae, he establishes a formula for the area of a triangle in terms of its sides lengths, that is, a spherical Heron formula. At the end of his memoir, Lagrange makes a comparison between the Euclidean and the spherical formulae and he establishes a relation between them.
