Abstract: Abstract This chapter consists of an exposition of some fundamental footsteps of spherical geometry, based on Lagrange’s memoir Solution de quelques problèmes relatifs aux triangles sphériques avec une analyse complète de ces triangles, making relations with Euler’s work on the same subject and putting these works in perspective and establishing relations with modern works.
